Darlene Marshall is the author of award-winning historical romance, mostly about pirates, privateers, smugglers and the occasional possum. She lives in North Central Florida, where a good day at work means putting the top down on the convertible, driving to the beach, drinking mojitos and calling it research.

Marshall is an alumna of the University of Florida and is the former owner of a rock radio station. She's been a reporter and editor in television, radio, and print.

Marshall's novels are available in ebook and print, and in German and Estonian. Seriously.
