Dorothy Garlock wrote novels about "America's Heartland", and has published fifty books since her career began. A native of Texas, she moved to Iowa in 1955 with her husband. After working for 14 years as bookkeeper/columnist for the local newspaper, her career as a published author began in 1976. She was one of the six authors chosen to launch the Loveswept imprint.
As an author for Loveswept, Dorothy Garlock published two romances. She died on April 6, 2018.
