Inpirational romances are a sub-genre of the romance genre. Inspirational romances celebrate traditional Christian values, though they can focus on other faiths.

In 1985, the Romance Writers of America introduced the Inspirational category into their Golden Medallion (now known as RITA®) competition. The first winner of the award was Charlotte Nichols for her title For The Love of Mike.

For lists of titles see category:Inspirational and category:Inspirational Historical Romance.
