Diana Palmer is a pen name of Susan Spaeth Kyle. Her first book as Diana Palmer, Bound By A Promise, was published in 1979 in the MacFadden Romance line. Since then she has written over 100 novels, mostly category romances for Silhouette, but also historicals for Ivy and contemporary romances for Mira and HQN. She has been the recipient of numerous industry awards.

Her novel Diamond Girl was turned into a television movie in 1998.
