Biography

Rachel Gibson is a USA TODAY bestselling author. Her original voice and humorous style has earned the praise of reviewers... "first class entertainment," raves The Oakland Press. According to Publishers Weekly, "Gibson's characters are quirky and endearing and her clever snappy dialogue amuses at every turn of the page."Rachel lives in Boise, Idaho, and many of her books are set in Idaho.

Rachel Gibson won the 2002 RITA® in the Contemporary Single Title category for her novel True Confessions. She also also finalled in the 2005 RITA in the Contemporary Single Title category with her novel Daisy's Back in Town. She was a 2008 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Best Contemporary Single Title category for her novel Tangled Up In You. Rachel Gibson was a 2010 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Contemporary Single Title Romance category with her novel True Love and Other Disasters.

Four of her novels, Simply Irresistible, Truly Madly Yours, True Confessions, and See Jane Score, were named among the Top Ten Favorite Books of The Year by Romance Writers of America. Her fourth novel, True Confessions, was awarded the RITA, Romance Writers of America’s highest honor of excellence. She was a 2009 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Best Contemporary Single Title category with her novel Not Another Bad Date. Rachel’s other awards include the 1994 Golden Heart Award in the Contemporary Single Title category, the National Readers' Choice Award, and the Romantic Times Magazine Bookstores That Care Award for Best Love and Laughter.
