Right before walking down the aisle, Georgeanne Howard decides not to marry the much older owner of the local hockey team (Virgil Duffy), and finds a ride away from the wedding with John Kowalski, captain of the team. They spend a steamy weekend together and then go their separate ways. Seven years later they run into each other and he finds out that he has a daughter who looks just like him.
