Love can destroy a man's heart! Francisco s statement was a paradox to Lucile. She had not known the power of love until he taught her. More than anything else in the world she wanted to see him again--wanted to be near him and try to cure his deep-seated bitterness. Francisco, however, sternly rejected her.
