Book Description
Practice Nurse Beth Turner needed a change, and a part-time post in the Suffolk general practice headed by Dr Gideon Pendragon would allow her breathing space. Gideon offered a flat for her use, in the ground of his house, but this was a mixed blessing. Beth had never known family life, while widower Gideon had to cope with three children. When his housekeeper's angina became worse, how could Beth refuse to help out, even if it brought her closer to Gideon - who had enough responsibilities and nothing left to give to a new relationship?
