Biography

Laura Lee Guhrke could have made her fortune selling espresso[1] had her timing been better (or her father more visionary). She worked as a caterer in Los Angeles, her birthplace, before returning to Idaho, where she'd spent much of her life. She graduated from Boise State University with a business degree.

Laura Lee Guhrke won the 1997 RITA® in the Long Historical category for her novel Conor's Way. She was a 2008 RITA® finalist in the RITA®: Historical Romance category for her novel And Then He Kissed Her. She was also a 2007 RITA® finalist in the Short Historical category for She's No Princess. She has also been honored by Romantic Times Magazine and All About Romance.
