Book Description

Dr Cathy Harris, left a widow with a small son, had no choice about working, but she could try to choose a good environment for Stephens, hence the move to the Cotswolds. It was unfortunate that junior practice partner Dr Max Armstrong seemed to have reservations about working mothers, even through his attraction to Cathy was blatantly obvious. It didn't help at all that senior Partner Dr Glover was intent on matchmaking! But Max didn't seem inclined to marriage, and Cathy couldn't countenance an affair, even if their opinions hadn't differed so widely professionally. There seemed no answer
